Redditch Church

Redditch Church in Worcestershire has various churches for separate religious faiths such as Anglican, Baptist and Methodist. It is conventional for a town to have more than one church and Redditch is no exception.

Regrettably church attendance has been falling for the last 50 years in the United Kingdom, with 15% of the populace presiding at least once every month, in spite of everything Atheists and Agnostics are still in a minority, representing 33% of the inhabitants.

We think the reason for the decline is simply that people don't have faith in God any more, with violence raging across the world and the wealth of the nation in a bad way it is straightforward to appreciate peoples lack of faith. In our estimation the Church needs to be re-branded, if you think of the core values of Church such as togetherness, family, marriage and community leaving aside God for a second! If you think on all the good things that Churches stand for in our Redditch community then it's truly extraordinary figures are going down. Surely we all want our Redditch to be a fantastic place to live, where persons get along, they assist each other in times of need and people give to each other without asking anything back in return. So what we are asking is for you to go along to your Redditch church and pressure for change, you want to assist, and you think it is only right and proper that the rest of your community chip in and help with things. The UK is on its knees because hardly anybody wishes to work to a superior goal...it is time for change...come on people..let us get as one and make this happen

Churches in the past and future have worked together with other organisations such as regional schools, groups such as the beavers, cubs and scouts as well as being prominent in assisting other groups of inhabitants such as the lonely, meager and abused. The church is seen as doing good causes which sees them in a nice light.

Churches have been seen in a dim light of late with the pope resigning, the first pope in more than six hundred years, and nobody was entirely sure of the reason why, a lot of people have speculated that it is not just a matter of the pope getting older and not being able to carry out his job to the fullest.

The scottish Cardinal Keith O'Brien in recent times walked out after admitting sexually inappropriate moves to young men training to be priests, taking into consideration his anti-homosexual words in the past, this was seen as "do as I say not as I do"!

On the lighter side of things churches are seen as a very quiet place to be - a good spot to reflect on the things that are happening in your life at the present moment.

A game we used to play as kids was to find the oldest headstone..i.e. the earliest date, that is a diversion that can keep children pleased for a while as well as giving them good exercise as they walk/run round the cemetery.
