Broadway Church

Broadway Church in Worcestershire has many churches for different religious faiths such as Anglican, Baptist and Methodist. It is common for a town to have more than one church and Broadway is no exception.

Unfortunately church attendance has been falling for the last fifty years in the United Kingdom, with 15% of the populace attending at least once every month, notwithstanding Atheists and Agnostics are still in a minority, representing 33% of the people.

We think the basis for the decline is in basic terms that people do not have faith in God any more, with violence raging across the world and the economy in a bad way it is straightforward to comprehend peoples lack of faith. In our opinion the Church needs to be re-branded, if you think of the core values of Church such as togetherness, family, marriage and community leaving aside God for a second! If you think on all the good things that Churches represent in our Broadway community then it's really astounding numbers are going down. Surely we all want our Broadway to be a wonderful spot to live, where persons get along, they help one another in times of need and people give to each other without asking anything back in return. So what we are asking is for you to go along to your Broadway church and make a request change, you want to help, and you think it's only right and proper that the rest of your neighborhood chip in and help with things. The UK is on its knees because hardly a soul desires to work to a better goal...it is time for change...come on people..let's get organized and make this happen

Churches in the past and future have collaborated with other organisations such as resident schools, groups such as the beavers, cubs and scouts as well as being prominent in assisting other groups of people such as the lonely, feeble and abused. The church is seen as doing good causes which sees them in a good light.

Churches have been seen in a dim light recently with the pope resigning, the first pope to do so in more than six hundred years, and nobody was entirely sure of the reason why, scores of people have speculated that it is not just a matter of the pope getting older and not being able to carry out his job to the fullest.

The scottish Cardinal Keith O'Brien recently quit after admitting sexually inappropriate moves to young men training to be priests, taking into account his anti-gay language in bygone times, this was seen as "do as I say not as I do"!

On the lighter side of things churches are seen as a very peaceful place to be - a good spot to reflect on the things that are happening in your life at the present moment.

A game we used to play as children was to find the oldest memorial..i.e. the earliest date, that's a game that can keep children pleased for a while as well as giving them good exercise as they run/walk round the cemetery.
