Northolt Church

Northolt Church in Middlesex has many churches for distinctive religious faiths such as Anglican, Baptist and Methodist. It is common for a town to have more than one church and Northolt is no exception.

Unfortunately church attendance has been falling for the last fifty years in the United Kingdom, with 15% of the populace attending at least once per month, notwithstanding Atheists and Agnostics are still in a minority, representing 33% of the people.

We think the explanation for the decline is just that people do not have faith in God any more, with violence raging across the world and the wealth of the nation in a bad way it's straightforward to comprehend peoples lack of faith. In our estimation the Church needs to be re-branded, if you think of the fundamental values of Church such as togetherness, family, marriage and community leaving aside God for a second! If you reflect on all the good things that Churches represent in our Northolt community then it is truly astonishing figures are going down. Surely we all want our Northolt to be a wonderful place to inhabit, where persons get along, they assist each other in times of need and people give to each other without asking anything back in return. So what we are asking is for you to go along to your Northolt church and plea for change, you want to help, and you think it's only right and proper that the rest of your neighborhood chip in and help with things. The UK is on its knees because hardly anybody wants to work to a superior goal...it is time for change...come on people..let us get organized and make this happen

Churches in the past and future have worked together with other organisations such as native schools, groups such as the beavers, cubs and scouts as well as being prominent in assisting other groups of inhabitants such as the lonely, humble and abused. The church is seen as doing good causes which sees them in a nice light.

Churches have been seen in a dim light of late with the pope resigning, the first pope to do so in more than six hundred years, and nobody was entirely sure of the reason why, loads of people have speculated that it is not just a matter of the pope getting older and not being able to carry out his job to the fullest.

The scottish Cardinal Keith O'Brien in recent times deserted after admitting sexually inappropriate moves to young men training to be priests, in view of his anti-homosexual speech-making in the past, this was seen as "do as I say not as I do"!

On the lighter side of things churches are seen as a very quiet space to be - a good place to reflect on the things that are going on in your life at the present moment.

A game we used to play as kids was to find the oldest memorial..i.e. the earliest date, that is a game that can keep kids smiling for a while as well as giving them good exercise as they walk/run round the cemetery.
